Daycare Socialization and play is a very important part of your dog’s life. We have found numerous benefits when dogs interact with other dogs before they reach a year old. They seem happier, burn up energy and have fewer behavioral problems. This is how puppy playtime was born.

Puppy playtime is where puppies under 1 year old can come together and interact with other dogs. We have seen puppies who were nervous and scared become bold and confident after just a few sessions. Pet owners are delighted when their puppy comes home and sleeps all night.

Daycare is the next progression of play and socialization at 1 year of age. Full and half days are available. Daycare gives your dog time to play, run and chase with other dogs, in our spacious, secure yards. Pets who are active, stimulated, and happy maintain better overall health.

We also offer group pool times if your pooch likes the water. We have many regulars who come to our daycare, so it is very possible that your pet may meet a friend or two every time they come.
Three dogs are interacting in a fenced-in dog park with a dirt ground. A black and white dog is running with a rope toy in its mouth while a brown dog chases it. In the background, a red-brown dog, which recently had a check-up at the vet, is walking near agility equipment and trees.

A husky carries a toy while being chased by a brown dog in a sandy play area with agility equipment, including a ramp and tire obstacles. Nearby, another brown dog observes near the fence and trees, as if awaiting its turn or perhaps looking for the vet who frequents this lively space.

Pool Playtime Yes, we really do have a 27ft in ground bone shaped pool just for dogs. With our Louisiana weather, our canine clients needed a more effective way of cooling off. This is how the idea of the pool came about. We wanted to design a pool that was fun and functional. Dr. Beckers had an idea to make one end very shallow for just splashing around and then gradually sloping to 4ft. This way, a dog who loved to swim could get a total work out.

We then thought it would be fun to make it into the shape of a bone. We also covered the pool with an aluminum/mesh overhang to keep it shaded. With the help of master pool designer Vincent Rose our dreams became a reality. Immediately the pool was a big hit.

Playtimes have an added enjoyment when the dogs can romp and splash with other dogs. The first time we saw the dogs playing in the pool, we knew dogs could smile.

We also offer Birthday Parties for your pet! Birthday Parties are $25 and can include up to 5 furry friends. You can add additional furry friends for $2 each. Your pet will receive a birthday toy, birthday treats for the party guests, and a photo of the special day!
A wet Labrador Retriever stands on the edge of a swimming pool with a large red ball in its mouth. The dog is looking away from the camera, and a light green collar is around its neck. The ground around the pool appears wet, indicating recent activity in the pool, perhaps after a visit to the vet for some check-ups.
